Common questions

How do I play?
Tap a vessel to pick it up, then tap another to pour into it. A pour moves the top colour from one vessel to the other, and is only allowed when the receiving vessel is empty or already has that same colour on top — with room to spare. You've solved the board when every vessel holds a single colour (or is empty).

Why can't I pour into that vessel?
Either it's full, or its top colour doesn't match the colour you're pouring. You can only pour a colour onto itself or into an empty vessel.

What happens if I get stuck?
If no legal pour can change the board, Quiet Vessels tells you straight away — there are no silent dead ends. Undo as many pours as you like, or restart the board; restarting re-deals the exact same puzzle so you can try a different route.

What are the difficulties?
Gentle, Classic, Tricky, and Expert. Higher tiers bring more colours, fewer spare vessels, and reservoir vessels — large single-colour containers that only accept their own colour.

What is a reservoir vessel?
A larger vessel assigned one colour from the start. Only that colour may be poured into it. It frees space among the small vessels but adds a routing constraint — plan around it.

Can I change the language?
Quiet Vessels follows your device language automatically (fifteen languages supported). There is no in-app language picker — the puzzle itself has no words.

I missed yesterday's daily — can I play it now?
No. Daily puzzles are tied to the calendar day, and there is no archive of past dailies. Practice mode lets you play unlimited boards at any difficulty whenever you like.

How do I mute the music or sound effects?
Tap the music or sound icon in the header on the Home screen. Settings → Audio also has separate toggles plus volume sliders.

How do I reset my stats?
Settings → Data → Reset stats. This is permanent — there's no cloud backup, so once you reset, the data is gone.
